All is wellwhen you sit at our table
A seaside Greek tavern on the island of Skiathos, where olive groves meet the Aegean. Honest food, slow afternoons, candlelit nights.
Όλα Καλά · Food Therapy
A small tavern,
with a long table.
Ola Kalá means “all is well”. A phrase whispered over the rim of an espresso cup, shouted across the harbor, murmured to a friend you have not seen since last summer.
We opened on Skiathos because the island taught us how to slow down. Mornings begin late here, and dinners stretch toward midnight. Salt is in the air. The light, in August, turns everything gold.
Our kitchen is plainspoken. We grill what was caught that morning, roast what the gardens gave up that week, and pour the kind of wine that asks for a second bottle. We are not chasing stars. We are chasing the moment when the last person at the table finally exhales.
That, for us, is therapy.
- Sourced near
From the island, mostly
Fish from the morning boats at the old port. Greens from the gardens beyond Koukounaries. Oil from a press we trust by name.
- Cooked slowly
The Greek way
Recipes carried by hand from grandmothers and the back rooms of Thessaloniki kitchens. Nothing rushed, nothing hidden.
- Eaten together
Plates for the middle
Order generously. Share everything. Linger past the last carafe of wine. That is how we know dinner went well.

“The simplest plate, made with care, is the one you remember in February.”Yiayiá Eleni
Atmosphere
An evening with us
Blue chairs, green-checkered linens, the rigging of fishing boats knocking softly. The Aegean, somewhere just past the next umbrella.
